Spring Color Pops with Harper and Jewels
It's been six months of winter and I've had it! I like snow but only around Christmas, not into April. I'm ready for patio season, roof top bars and summer walks around the city. There's nothing better than a summer Saturday spent walking in the sunshine exploring the city and then grabbing a margarita on a patio.
One of my favorite places to go is Las Fuentes, a Mexican restaurant in Lincoln Park. The margaritas are soooo good and its fairly cheap for the amount of food you get. The patio is pretty big and so beautiful in the summer.
I also love La Cantina in River North or Cesar's in Lakeview when I'm craving a little bit of Tex-Mex cuisine. One of my favorite things about Mexican restaurants (other than the food and drinks) is the colors. Every restaurant has so many pops of color. Think about it, have you ever been to a neutral-colored Mexican restaurant?
This Harper and Jewel's multi-colored tassel necklace perfectly ties into the color pops in the restaurants and makes the dinner a bit more fun. I know this outfit, completed by an off-shoulder white top from Mailey Rose, is going to be a go-to this summer. It's perfect for a casual night on the patio and can even transition into a going out to rooftop bars outfit.
With the look set, let's taco about food: what's your favorite Mexican dish? I'm a huge fan of enchiladas and fajitas. Go comment on my latest post (@camilikeatanktop) and let me know!
