Nicole Berry (@berryne)

Career: Designer at Cornett (Ad agency in Lexington KY)

Hobby: Hot yoga, nothing like getting your sweat on while also decompressing from a long stressful day

Favorite thing about being a woman: The ability to be feminine and strong at the same time.

Best advice you've ever received from a woman: Never be dependent on anyone. Always be able to make your own way and support yourself on your own.

Lauren Nolan (@lakeshorelady)

Career: I am the creator of LakeShoreLady.com, a wellness and lifestyle blog based in Chicago.
Hobby: I love cooking and trying new workout classes!
Favorite thing about being a woman: I love that we live in a time when I can be both ambitious and feminine. I can start my own business AND wear a dress with a big bow on it. Those things don't have to be mutually exclusive anymore, and I'm so grateful for that!
Best advice you've received from a woman: Shauna Niequist didn't say this to me personally, but I've been influenced by this quote since the day I read it. "When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. And when life is bitter, say thank you and grow."

Morgan Raphael (@bun_undone)

Career: Digital Marketing for LIMITLESS by day + a serious love for my side hustle, Bun Undone
Hobby: I truly love using my creative brain as a hobby. I love to read and write while jamming to music. I also LOVE cooking and of course, working out.
Favorite thing about being a woman: I absolutely love how adaptable women are. We are designed to be nurturers, mothers, caregivers, but we also are SO strong. We can adapt to any environment, any life and body changes, and fight it with the six sense/super powers we were made with. It makes me so proud to be a woman.
On a more FUN note, I love love how much being a woman involves taking care of yourself. I am all about selfcare, and making yourself glow from the inside out.
Best advice you’ve received from a woman: To take time to learn who you are. To self discover, do things for YOURSELF, fill your cup first. And never feel guilty about it. Self care and self love is never selfish.

Brianna Bickham (@bnbickham7)

Career: Nurse

Hobby: Reading and signing

Favorite thing about being a woman: The fact that we were the ones chosen to be able to create life gives me a piece of confidence/power that men will never have.

Best advice you’ve received from a woman: Sometimes we spend so much time pouring ourselves into others that our cups run empty and we have nothing left to give. Remember to always refill your cup by finding things in life that renew you.

Sally Burke (@sallyanneburke)

Career: Fitness instructor at Flywheel Sports and Studio Lagree

Hobby: Walking my dog on the lakefront & drinking margaritas with friends. Also running half marathons/my first full marathon this year

Favorite thing about being a woman: My favorite thing is being able to be feminine & also feel strong AF when I accomplish something challenging. And the friendships I have with other women.

Best advice you’ve received from a woman: The best advice is from my mom: when you’re making a tough decision, whether it’s in your career or personal life, stop overthinking and just pay attention to the little positive things that happen throughout your day and those will usually point you in the direction you are meant to go.

Julie Fannin (@julie.h.blair) (aka my momma!)

Career: Full time professional nanny/former gifted education teacher

Hobby: I love to read, learning to decorate cakes, which is something I’ve always wanted to learn, and going to movies.

Favorite thing about being a woman: My favorite thing about being a woman is that I got to be a mommy.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a woman: To be content with yourself and not need someone else to complete you. You are enough. Also, spend money on good supportive foundation. Meaning good bras and good shoes.

Marissa Bell (@marissaabell)

Career: Personal assistant & actress (catch her on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why!)

Hobby: Astrology

Favorite thing about being a woman: My favorite thing about being a woman is our resiliency. Were almost like chameleons in the sense that we can be thrown in just about any situation and find a way to thrive. If we stumble or fall, then we are quick to figure how to bounce back up. It’s that undying hope that every woman has inside her. At our very core, no matter what, we retain our strength.

Best advice you’ve received from a woman: The best advice I’ve received from a woman is to never say no to an opportunity you know nothing about. Be a sponge and absorb as much information as you can about anything and everything. Never stop learning.

Katrina Rusinek (@katrinarusinek & @rusinekart)

Career: Artist

Hobby: Singing

Favorite thing about being a woman: I love how women are constantly hyping each other up.

Best advice you’ve received from another woman: Everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.

Alexa Morelli (@alexamorelli)

Career: Senior Account Executive at Canon

Hobby: Running, working out, healthy cooking/baking, and of course blogging!

Favorite thing about being a woman: Knowing that even though we don’t always get the credit we deserve, the would couldn’t function without us.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a woman: Not necessarily advice, but my mother was a female police officer in a time when there were very few and she never let being in a male dominated professional hold her back or inhibit her. Seeing this growing up let me know that my gender was never going to be something that held me back.

Madison White (@madi9695)

Career: Leadership consultant for Sigma Kappa sorority, but headed to Ohio State University to pursue a dual graduate degree in public administration and business this fall.

Hobby: Reading - it can be hard to keep up but it’s so fulfilling. Just finished Becoming by Michelle Obama and I would highly recommend.

Favorite thing about being a woman: My favorite thing about being a woman is my network of other strong and supportive women I’ve met. The women I’ve met through my job and throughout my life are always quick to encourage and promote opportunities for other women!

Best advice you’ve ever received from a woman: It’s okay to not be the “chill” girl. It’s okay to have no chill and be passionate and strive for what you want!

Bonus: Me, Cami! I thought I’d share a bit about myself so you can get to know me too!

Career: Publicist by day, blogger by night

Hobby: Sweating in the gym, yoga, running, walking Chicago’s neighborhoods, painting, watching movies, drinking wine

Favorite thing about being a woman: Right now, I have never been prouder to be a woman. Growing up, I was in school when Mean Girls came out and being mean used to be cool. We’ve entered an era where being mean is uncool, but nice is cool and women rally around each other for everything! We’ve realized that we can’t make it without each other and the community of women I see is the best thing ever!

Best advice you’ve received from a woman: Know your voice and develop it. There is nothing stronger than a woman with a voice. No one can take away your voice.
